Caro Cloutier is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario has been offering emotional and mental support to clients for over 17 years.
Caro offers support for Anxiety, Panic, Depression, Grief/Loss, Separation/Divorce, Trauma, Eating Disorders, Insomnia, self-esteem, anger, behavioural issues, co-dependency and relationship issues, sexual abuse, body image concerns, sexuality and spirituality issues. Caro Cloutier has helped clients young and old. Through many agencies from Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, Ronald McDonal House, Gilda's Place, Toronto Public School System, Conseil scolaire du district catholique Centre-Sud, OASIS Centre des femmes, Caro has helped children, teenagers and adults deal with their emotional suffering and difficulties. With Immigrant Woman of Hamilton and through her private practice she helps adults learn emotional awareness and self-compassion for their emotional, mental and/or spiritual challenges.
Caro offers transformational tools and daily practices that help, especially in difficult times. Caro's grounded, therapeutic, relational approach and presence offer a valuable. brave space for self-reflection, self-understanding and self-care. She offers a body-base, mindfulness and integrative approach to therapy. While Caro has an interest in a variety of therapeutic modalities, she offers a cohesive approach filled with compassion for her clients. She is client-focused, and uses mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, energy psychology, brain /breath techniques, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, spiritual meditation, Integrative Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals and clients and Family Constellation theory and more. She assists clients to better understand their pain and suffering, their obstacles, their worries and concerns. Her approach is designed to affirm what is working and lean into people's strengths. Building on self-resourcing, Caro helps clients find ways to grow through their challenges with self-awareness and self-efficacy.
Caro offers her services in English and in French, at two locations, off the Bloor line at Dundas St. W. and at Christie St.
$90-140 per session. Low income spots may be available.
Sessions may be covered by private insurance plans. Couples may be able to use both partners' plans for insurance.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. When booking an appointment, please indicate what health professionals your plan provides coverage for. I am a registered psychotherapist.

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Cash, cheque, and online bank e-transfer are accepted. Credit cards via Paypal with an added admin fee are accepted for payment too.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not provided at least 24 hours of advance notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
